How to Delete Your Account

You can permanently delete your PlateIQ account and all associated data directly from within the app. The process takes less than a minute.

Open the App

Launch PlateIQ and log in to your account.

Go to Profile

Tap the profile icon in the bottom navigation bar.

Scroll to "Danger Zone"

Scroll down to the bottom of the profile screen.

Tap "Delete Account"

Confirm your choice in the dialog. Your account and all data will be permanently deleted.

What Data Is Deleted

When you delete your account, all of the following data is permanently and irreversibly removed from our servers:

Your profile information (name, email, biometric data)
All meal logs and food scan history
Weight tracking history
Water intake logs
Activity and exercise logs
AI Coach analysis history
Notification preferences and device tokens
Streak and daily usage data

This action is irreversible. Once your account is deleted, there is no way to recover your data. Please make sure you no longer need your tracking history before proceeding.

Active Subscriptions

If you have an active premium subscription, it will be automatically cancelled when you delete your account. No further charges will be made.

If you purchased your subscription through Google Play, you may also want to verify the cancellation in Google Play > Subscriptions to ensure no further billing occurs.
